A FAMILIAR REFRAIN from the entertainment industry is that Internet-native video isn’t worthy because it lacks the expense, the grandeur, and the production values of the three-hundred-million-dollar movies that fill our cinemas every summer. The studio heads say that without the analog dollars they depend on from theatergoers, the digital dimes won’t add up to enough money to produce these media cathedrals that require the labor of thousands of talented people and the infusion of so much capital.
